Measuring instructions curtains
General measuring tips
- Use a measuring tape that is long enough to measure in one go.
- Always measure twice. Being sure creates peace of mind.
- Take protruding parts into account, such as window handles or doorknobs. The curtains must hang freely.
Wave pleat? Then the curtain will require at least 9cm of clearance in front of and 9cm behind the rail. - Measurements can be taken in whole or half centimeters. Round your measurements up (e.g. 300.6cm → 301cm) (e.g. 300.4cm → 300.5cm).
- No floor yet? Take this into account: subtract the thickness of the floor from the height measurement.

Measure the height
Measure the height from the floor to the ceiling (or to the top of the rails for wall mounting). Always measure at 3 points: left, middle, and right.
Use the shortest measurement and add or subtract the number of cm below for the desired drape length.
Provide this measurement to us as the height.
Advice for Wave curtain: choose ‘To the floor’
Other pleats: choose according to your own taste

Measure the width
Measure the desired width at 3 points: top, middle, and bottom.
Use the largest measurement and add +5cm to it.
If you already have a rail rod: take the width of the rod and add +5cm to it.
Please provide us with this measurement as the width. We will calculate the required fabric for the desired pleat/wave.

Measure the desired width
Do you want to cover only a window or frame rather than wall-to-wall? Ideally, add an extra 20cm to the left and 20cm to the right of the window for the most beautiful drape.
Please note: For wave curtains, a minimum of 9cm space is required in front of and 9cm behind the rail so that the curtains hang beautifully and move smoothly.
For wall mounting, it is important that the wall brackets are sufficiently deep (minimum 9cm - you can enter this choice when configuring the product). For ceiling mounting, there must also be sufficient free space in front of and behind the rail.
