Mounted directly to the ceiling, the rail creates a calm line that enhances the height of your space, while the soft oval profile adds a refined architectural finish.

The motor is positioned behind the curtain, keeping the system visually calm and uninterrupted.
The gliders move closely together along a slim profile, creating a clean and continuous drape.
The drive system is fully integrated within the rail, allowing the gliders to pass smoothly through to the end of the system.
Two running channels ensure refined movement. The carrier moves on a separate channel above the gliders, allowing them to stack compactly when opening the curtains.
Everything works together to keep the movement fluid, even at height.
Oval design, refined on the ceiling
The E2 rail features a soft oval profile, bringing a more elegant and rounded appearance compared to flat curtain rails.
Mounted to the ceiling, it creates a clean architectural line while allowing the curtains to fall freely from ceiling to floor.
The rounded shape softens the overall look, making the system feel refined yet understated.

The E2 Electric rail can be integrated into a smart home setup via the Somfy TaHoma Switch.

The colour of the runners or gliders is matched to your rail finish.
For anthracite, black and bronze rails, black runners or gliders are used.

Simply provide the correct measurements, we ensure it fits precisely, even wall-to-wall.

Measuring correctly is the foundation of curtain rails that fit your space perfectly and allow your curtains to hang beautifully. Fortunately, you don’t have to figure this out on your own.

Your rail and curtain work together as a single system.
2 parts – opening left and right (most chosen)
The motor is placed left or right (you choose). Your curtains open evenly to both sides, creating symmetry and a soft, balanced look.
1 part – opening to one side
The motor sits on one end, the one where the curtains are before you close them.
The curtain opens fully to either the left or the right, clean and practical.
LEFT:
The curtain is stacked on the left. It opens towards the right. The motor will be on the left.
RIGHT:
The curtain is stacked on the right. It opens towards the left. The motor will be on the right.
Ceiling or wall mounting? Both are possible. The right choice depends on your space, ceiling height and the look you want to create.
Ceiling mounting
With ceiling mounting, the rail is mounted directly to the ceiling. This creates a clean, modern look and makes the room appear taller. It is ideal for floor-to-ceiling curtains and high windows.
Wall mounting
With wall mounting, the rail is mounted above the window using wall brackets.
Wall brackets are available in different depths. The required bracket depth depends on your situation.
This depends on:
- Whether you choose wave curtains (we recommend at least 9 cm space in front of and behind the rail so the curtains can hang and move freely)
- Whether there are obstacles such as window frames, radiators, handles or other elements that stick out from the wall.
Choosing the correct bracket depth ensures the curtains hang straight and can move smoothly.

We recommend ordering the exact size for the cleanest result, calm in look, precise in finish.
Yes.
Your rail is delivered as one continuous piece, ready to create a smooth, uninterrupted flow.
Please keep in mind:
- If a full-length rail cannot be delivered into your space (for example in apartments or buildings with limited access), we can split it into sections upon request.
- The maximum production length for one piece is 580 cm. Longer widths are possible by connecting multiple rails. We always supply rails with steel axle runners or gliders. These are designed to move effortlessly across connection points, so your curtain keeps its soft, seamless movement.
